Alexander J. Minalga, Jr.

Shirley – Alexander J. Minalga, Jr., 63, passed away peacefully in his home on July 23, 2021. Alex was born in Ayer on July 22, 1958 the only son of the late Alexander J. Minalga, Sr. and Louise D. (Gilberti). Alex built his business AJM Automotive in Lunenburg, opening in 1985. During his 36 years at the garage, he had the pleasure of meeting many people and establishing friendships with his customers. He always appreciated their kindness and continued support. Alex will always be remembered as fair, honest, and a man who could truly fix anything. He loved spending time with his family and building everything you can imagine in his work shop. Alex enjoyed gardening, fishing, and getting away to the Cape. He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Ann C. (Rheault) Minalga; two daughters, Alexandria and her husband Steve, Rene and her wife Mel; many friends, including his longtime pal, Roland Trainque. Alex was always grateful to Dr. Daniel O’Leary and the wonderful Leominster Medical staff for all of their hard work.
