Angel Marie Brennan, 40, was pronounced deceased on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at UMass Memorial Hospital. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Angel was born on August 30, 1984, in Manhattan, Kansas. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dorene White and the cherished daughter-in-law of Heywood and Bonnie Brennan.
Angel leaves behind her devoted husband and best friend of 25 years, James Brennan, and their beloved daughters: Jimina Brennan, Jimiya Brennan, and Julianna Brennan. She is also survived by her grandmother Georgia White, her father Gary White, and her sisters Felecia Cheese and Barbara Stewart. Angel will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Daymon Buckner, Dezmond Buckner, William Storey, Cameron Storey, Damien Montoya, Deliciana Montoya, Dominic Montoya, Maicie Wild, and Gunnar Holt Wirkkala. She also leaves behind many dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Angel was a dedicated nurse for 17 years, working across various facilities and through agency work. Following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother, she found deep fulfillment in caregiving. Her gentle spirit and compassionate care left a lasting impact on countless lives. Angel also proudly served in the United States Army, honoring a tradition of service begun by her father.
Her passions were many—Angel loved visiting museums, drawing and painting, singing, exploring new restaurants, attending plays, immersing herself in nature, and sharing knowledge. She found joy in both teaching and learning.
She adored her six beloved cats: Cheddar, Mr. Miyagi, Benny, Biscuit, Akeo, and Peppa.
Angel was the kindest soul—a true angel on earth. Her radiant smile and warm, expressive brown eyes welcomed everyone with love. She loved God and her family with all her heart, and her presence brought light wherever she went.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
