With profound sadness, we share the news of the peaceful passing of Ann Brisson on April 9, 2026. Born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on August 2, 1947, to Edward and Florence Melanson, Ann was a beloved figure whose bright spirit touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ann was a dedicated Administrative Assistant within the Lunenburg School System till her retirement. Her work ethic was admirable, and her commitment to nurturing the educational environment was a testament to her love for the community. Ann was passionate about gardening and sewing, using her green thumb and nimble fingers to create beauty all around her. Her love for travel and working at a local dance studio showcased her adventurous spirit and love for the arts. She was an active member of the PTO and the Boosters Club, always eager to lend a hand and engage in her children's sports activities. Above all, Ann cherished spending time with her grandchildren, filling their lives with love, wisdom, and countless joyful moments.
Preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Florence Melanson, Ann is survived by her loving husband, Paul Brisson, and her children, Christopher Brisson and his wife Jennifer, Jeffrey Brisson, and Elizabeth Brisson; three grandchildren Elliana, Avery, and Cooper. She has nine siblings, Eddy, Tim, Mike, Robert, Dave, Don, Ken, James and Paula. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family and community that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Calling hours will be held at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA, on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Funeral services and burial willl be priavte.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ann's name to the Turkery Hill Elementary School, 129 Northfield Road, Lunenburg, MA 01462, Att: Superintendent's Office.
