Obituary

Lancaster – Anna M. (Cormier) Larivee, 90, formerly of Leominster passed away Thursday, October 11, in River Terrace Healthcare.

Anna was born in Fitchburg on May 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Henry and Eugenie (Leger) Cormier.

She worked for several years at the former DeJohn/Weyerhaeuser Paper Mill and later for Digital Equipment Corp in Westminster until her retirement. Anna had a contagious smile that would light up a room. She loved every moment she spent with her family; she was a wonderful grandmother who enjoyed cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

Anna is survived by her two children, Bruce Larivee of Lunenburg and Joan Ciampaglia of Leominster; grandchildren, Kelly Perla, Kevin Brion, Rhonda Fors, and Gabrielle Larivee; great grandchildren, Lucas and Dominique Perla, Haley and Hunter Murphy; a brother Roger Cormier of Fitchburg; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter Carol Fors, her two brothers Joseph and Gerard Cormier, and her former husband, Raymond Larivee.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of the River Terrace Healthcare Center for their wonderful care and compassion.
