Bruce Edward Pollock, affectionately known as Papa, passed away peacefully with his wife Kathy and stepdaughter Erin by his side on August 30th, 2025. Born on January 10, 1949, Bruce's smart, loyal, and humorous nature left a lasting mark on the lives of many. His clever and subtle wit brought joy to those around him, making every interaction a memorable one.
Bruce was a respected member of the newspaper industry, having retired from the Worcester Telegram where he practiced his craft in advertising and graphic design. His creativity was not confined to his professional life; he was a 'jack of all trades,' with skills in carpentry, electricity, and plumbing. This passion for hands-on work was only paralleled by his love for bike riding, dancing, and traveling with his devoted wife, Kathy. His love for his family shone brightly, as he delighted in playing with his grandchildren, Connor and Quinn, and amusing everyone with his comic relief writing in family photo books. His home was always filled with laughter, love, and a lot of good coffee (black). Bruce's love for his Yorkies was also a testament to his kind and loving nature.
His life's journey was shared with those who survive him, his wife, Kathleen Kittredge, his stepdaughters, Colleen Courtney and Erin D'Aquila, his son-in-law, Stephen D'Aquila, his grandchildren, Connor and Quinn D'Aquila, his brother, Robert Pollock Jr., his sister-in-law, Christine Pollock, and his nephews, Robert Pollock III and John Pollock. He now joins his parents, Robert and Muriel Pollock, who preceded him in death.
