Cameron Lynn “Cammy” Sisto Ruble - of Fitchburg, died after a five-year battle with cancer, February 6 th at the age of sixty-two.
Born in Newton and raised in Natick and Millis, Cammy was the beloved daughter of Gladys A. Beaudette, Guy Beaudette, and the late Gerard W. Sisto.
Cammy and her family lived in various places, from Massachusetts to Louisiana. She attended the Walnut Hill School and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in Psychology. In 1988 she married William “Bill” Ruble, and they began a life together in Ashburnham, raising their two children Chris and Courtney, as well as a handful of pets whom Cammy loved dearly, Gidget, Sylvester, Tweety, Manny, Zooey, and Dusty.
Cammy was a strong and independent woman, a devoted friend, and a loving mother. She was always fully herself and lived life at her own pace. She walked her own path, because why be like everyone else? She cared so deeply for all of those in her life. Above all she was most devoted to her children and grandchildren. In the past five years of her life she was given renewed strength and fulfillment in spending time with her grandchildren Lena and Liam.
Her positivity, creativity, kindness, care, and love will be remembered and embraced by all who knew her.
Cammy was predeceased by her ex-husband Bill Ruble, her father Gerard W. Sisto and his wife Janet, and her brother Andrew Sisto. She is survived by her children Christopher Ruble, his wife Meghan Bouffard of Marlborough, and Courtney Ruble, her fiancé Timothy Romano of Lunenburg, their children Lena Marley Willow and Liam Ziggy. She is also survived by her mother Gladys Beaudette and husband Guy, brother Christopher Sisto of Agawam, his children Joseph and Caroline, and their mother Laura Merrill, brother Jeffrey Sisto, and his wife, Coreen of Medway, their children, Sophia, Lucy, Dominic, and Isabella, as well as many other friends and relatives.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 20th, from 3-5 p.m. where relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, MA.
