Carol A. (Pasquina) Bishop

September 8, 1930 — March 2, 2022

Calling hours will be from 2-5pm in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Sunday, March 6, 2022.  The funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 7, in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Church



 

Leominster – Carol A. Bishop, 91, of Leominster passed away peacefully in Leominster Hospital on March 2, 2022 surrounded by family and loved ones.

Carol was born in Somerville on September 8, 1930 a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Ravagni) Pasquina. She was predeceased by her sisters, June Craven, Patricia Osbourne, and her twin sister, Paula Babbin

Carol is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richmond Bishop; children, Carol Robison and partner Philip Choiniere of Leominster, Sandra Vorse and husband Dwayne of Leominster; Richard Bishop and wife Sherry of Greenville, SC, Charles Bishop and wife Jennifer of Farmington, NY, Robert Bishop and wife Emily of Long Beach, CA, 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews all of whom she loved with all her heart.

Carol spent the later part of her career working as a cafeteria manager for the Leominster Public School System.

A devout catholic, Carol was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church, where she was very active in the Ladies Guild and funeral ministry. Carol especially enjoyed working the white elephant booth at the church bazaar. She was treasurer of Family Weight Loss formerly known as TOPS and a past member of the Sons of Italy.

Carol loved to go camping with family and friends, and was part of the SNC & NAFCA (North American Family Campers Association) camping groups.
