Carol Anne Lindberg

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Carol Anne Lindberg, known to many as Ky, a loving, compassionate, and creative soul whose humor and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Carol graced the world with her presence on April 12, 1931, in Melrose Park, IL. Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and tenacity, and her legacy will remain a beacon of inspiration for generations to come.

Carol was a woman of many talents and passions. Her creativity shone through in her love for crafting, painting, sewing, and needlepoint. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and the comforting aroma of delicious meals she loved to prepare for her family and friends. She loved spending summers at the family's lake cottage in Ashburnham. Carol's laughter was infectious, and her witty humor could brighten even the gloomiest of days. Her passion for entertaining was known to all, making for many fun weekends and evenings in her home in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.

Carol's strong faith in God was a driving force in her life. She was a devoted member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, where her volunteer spirit was a beacon of light. Whether it was lending her talents in the kitchen, manning a booth at the church fair, or lifting spirits with her voice in the choir, Carol served her community with love and dedication. Her career as a Bank Teller at Merchant’s Bank in Leominster, MA, was marked by her unwavering diligence and commitment, spreading warmth and kindness to her colleagues and customers alike.

Carol is survived by her children Kristen Lindberg, Mark (Linda) Lindberg, and Scott (Christine) Lindberg; her sister Ruth Wierenga; and her grandsons Peter, JJ, Carter, and Nicholas Lindberg, and beloved cat Buddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lindberg, her son, Curtis, her daughter, Sue, and her siblings Lorne Carter, Gail Syrjala, Wayne Carter, Lorraine Carter-Long, and Valerie Carter. Carol's love for her family was the foundation of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

As we bid farewell to Carol, we celebrate the life she lived and the love she shared. She will always be remembered as a beacon of light in our lives - a woman of strength, faith, and immeasurable love. Carol will be remembered at a Celebration of Life service, Monday November 24 at 11:00 am, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1200 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, Mass. Burial will be private.
