Charles LeBlanc

December 23, 1943 — February 21, 2024

Winchendon, MA

It is with deep sadness but also with profound gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of Charles J. LeBlanc, fondly known to many as Charlie, Butch, or Chuckie. Born on December 23, 1943, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Charlie lived a full and loving life, marked by generosity, compassion, and a vibrant sense of humor that touched all who knew him. Charlie was a long time resident of West Townsend, Massachusetts and active member of St. John's Parish. Charlie was deeply rooted in his family, his faith, and his community, a steadfast figure whose presence will be deeply missed but whose spirit will continue to live on through the many lives he enriched.

Charlie, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was the heart of his family. He married the love of his life, Angela, on a beautiful summer day on August 13, 1966. Their love was the kind that could light up even the darkest of rooms. Charlie was a proud member of The Hub, The Palace, and Putnam Street Lanes bowling leagues. Charlie worked at Sterilite starting in 1970. His retirement years, beginning in 2011, were filled with the simple pleasures of life. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, delighting in candlepin bowling, working with wood, roller skating, attending family gatherings, taking long walks on the beach, and enjoying trips to the casino with Angela. Charlie was always ready to lend a helping hand. He had a special place in his heart for the family dogs.

Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela, and his daughters Linda LeBlanc and Joanne and her husband Michael Dennis. He leaves behind a legacy in his adoring grandchildren Amber and her husband Donald Schofield, Justin Dennis, and Jason Dennis, as well as his great-grandchildren Remington and River Schofield. He loved his many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen LeBlanc, and his sister Helen Hulecki.
