Funeral and burial services will be private for family only. Brandon Funeral Home at 305 Wanoosnac Rd, Fitchburg, MA, 01420 has been entrusted with Dee Dee’s funeral arrangements. In lieu of flowers or donations the family asks those inclined to perform a random act of kindness to “pay it forward” in loving memory of Dee Dee.



Darleen Siegel (49), or “Dee Dee” to her family, of Leominster passed away Thursday, June 18, 2020, after a long and courageous battle. Her family was by her side in her final hours as she was loved and will forever remain in their hearts. Dee Dee was born in Leominster, MA and attended St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years and she took pride in caring for others.

Her family will cherish memories of Dee Dee’s laugh, her sense of humor, resiliency, persistence, and her ability to find a silver lining among dark clouds. Dee Dee was particularly fond of movies, car racing, cats, ferrets, and the Patriots. She made friends quickly, was kind-hearted, and always willing to help others.

Dee Dee was predeceased by her mother Christine DeLisle a Registered Nurse from Leominster who passed in 2012. She is survived by her father Robert DeLisle of Pennsylvania, her brother Michael DeLisle and his fiancé Catherine LaRaia of Arlington, MA, her aunt Anne Andrews and husband Marty Andrews, her aunt Kathleen Mills, her cousin and friend Darcie Tortorella, as well as several cousins, all from Leominster, MA.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who shared their kindness with Dee Dee along her journey.
