With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of David C. Collura, a humble and loyal soul who left us on January 15, 2026. Born in Waltham, Massachusetts on May 15, 1962, David spent his formative years in Maynard, Massachusetts before establishing his residence in Westminster, Massachusetts. As a tile setter by profession, David was a highly respected member of the tiling community, his meticulous craftsmanship serving as a testament to his dedication and skill.
David was a man of simple pleasures, with a funny and thoughtful disposition that endeared him to all who knew him. He relished the tranquility of nature, often venturing out for camping and fishing trips. His love for metal detecting was only surpassed by his passion for cooking, and many will remember the delicious meals he lovingly prepared for family and friends. Above all, it was his family and friends that mattered most to him. As the saying goes, "There is no greater wealth in this world than peace of mind," and David found his peace in the comfort of his loved ones.
David is survived by his devoted wife, Theresa Collura, whom he married on October 9, 1999. He leaves behind his brother, Peter Collura, and sister, Joan Gower. He will be fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Jennifer Ketcham, and his nieces and nephews; Katie Collura, Joseph Collura, Andrew Gower, Kyle Gower, and Alicia Collura. David was preceded in death by his father, Charles Collura, his mother, Dorothy Mazzone, and his brother, Joseph Collura.
We encourage all who knew David to share their memories, upload photos, and celebrate the life of this remarkable man on his memorial page. His humility, humor, loyalty, and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
