David L. L'Ecuyer

Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, September 4 from 10 – 11:30am. The funeral service will begin at 11:30. Burial will be held privately. David L. L’Ecuyer, 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fitchburg on April 17, 1951, a son of the late Louis and Lena (Antil) L’Ecuyer. David graduated from Fitchburg Vocational High School in 1970. He spent his career working as an electrician, ending in 2003 when he retired from the City of Fitchburg. He then went on to work for various funeral homes, including Brandon Funeral Home. David was a lifetime member of the Fitchburg Social Club. He also loved playing golf and keno. David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joanne (Monahan) L’Ecuyer of Fitchburg; his sons, Jeffrey L’Ecuyer of Leominster and Kevin L’Ecuyer, his wife Carolyne, and their daughters Raegan, Cassidy, and Madison of Millis. He is also survived by his brother Leon L’Ecuyer of Fitchburg; his brothers and sisters-in-law Jimmy and Cathy Monahan and John and Ann Monahan, and several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his sister Denise Marcoulier, his sister-in-law Rachel L’Ecuyer, and his brother-in-law Paul Marcoulier. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
