David Nadeau, a man of compassion and boundless generosity, passed away on April 28, 2025. Born in Fitchburg, MA, on June 20, 1954, to Edgar and Jeannette Nadeau, who preceded him in death, David lived a life of service and love. As the notable poet Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This quote resonated with David, who touched countless hearts with his warmth and love.
David was a beacon of loyalty, always standing by his loved ones in their times of need. He was the beloved husband to Stephanie and the proud father of Amanda, her fiance, Kyle Lorion, and Matthew, five grandchildren, Zoey, Coral, Rylee, Adelynn, and Skylar, one brother, Jimmy Nadeau, (wife Shelly Nadeau) one sister, Joan Vautour, five nieces and nephews, Michael Nadeau, Cindy Nadeau, John Vautour, Julie Vautour, and Alisha Nichols, who survive him. David was a successful business owner of variety and liquor stores before his well-deserved retirement. However, his dedication to his work was only surpassed by his commitment to his family. He was, first and foremost, a family man who cherished every moment he spent with his wife and children.
David was a man of many interests, from his love for nature and gardening to his knack for fixing just about anything - earning him the affectionate nickname of "Mr. Fixit." He found joy in the simple things in life, like caring for his beloved cat Einstein. David's sense of humor was like a ray of sunshine that could light up any room, making him not just the life of the party, but the heart of it. As we remember David, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, defined by kindness, and adorned with laughter.
