Dennis Anthony Torrisi, 78, of Weare, NH passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on March 31, 2026 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer . Born in the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts to Carmelo and Amelia Torrisi. Dennis was a thoughtful and supportive individual who touched the hearts of many.
Dennis, was a proud resident of Lunenburg, Massachusetts for over forty years where him and his wife, Judy, raised their family and he was deeply involved in the community. He later retired and resided in Weare, New Hampshire. His career as an estimator in the construction sector was marked by dedication and commitment, earning him respect from his colleagues and clients until his retirement in 2011. Beyond his professional life, Dennis was the Vice President of the Mid-State Antique Auto Club, and he had a deep love for golfing, bowling and was an avid Red Sox fan. His love for the things that mattered most in his life, including his dear wife, family, and friends was a testament to his generous and supportive nature.
He was the beloved husband of Judy Torrisi for 51 years. He leaves his children Karin Torrisi of Hull,MA, Laura Torrisi of Bradenton, FL, Sharon Salmonson and her husband Erik of Ashburnham, MA, Janet Dunner and her husband Andrew of Leominster, MA, Brenda Sanderson and her husband Scott of Orange, MA and David Torrisi and his wife Ariel of Shirley, MA. Survived by his grandchildren Leah, Abigail, Norah, Annalise, Ruth, Josephine, and Owen. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo and Amelia, and his brother Gerald Torrisi.
Dennis was a devout Christian, deeply invested in his faith, serving in various capacities at Highland Baptist Church. As we say goodbye to Dennis, we celebrate his life and the love he shared with us. He touched so many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His life was a living example of a verse from the Bible, Ephesians 4:32: "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ."

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 4:00-7:00PM at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11:00AM at Highland Baptist Church, 19 Cedar St., Fitchburg, MA followed by a burial at South Cemetery, 60 Page St., Lunenburg, MA.
