Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18 from 4:00 – 6:30pm, with a service at 6:30pm in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg. Burial will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054 



Townsend- Douglas K. Dodge, 61 passed away on Monday, October 14 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Mr. Dodge was born in Fitchburg on September 1, 1958 a son of Porter and Barbara (Bennett) Dodge. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lori A. (Rheault) Dodge of Townsend, one son, Tyler D. Dodge of Townsend, one daughter, Amanda E. Harris and her husband, Ryan of Townsend, one brother, Porter Dodge and his wife, Debby of Amherst, NH, one sister, Donna Fors and her husband, Rodney of Ashby, and one granddaughter, Ava Harris. Mr. Dodge began his store management career at Bradlees Department Store where he worked for many years before moving over to Marshall’s Department Store from which he eventually retired. His greatest enjoyment was his granddaughter, Ava, who meant the world to him.
