The calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home at 305 Wanoosnoc Road Fitchburg, MA on
Wednesday July 14th from 5-7pm. Funeral Services will be held in Brandon Funeral Home on Thursday
July 15th at 10am. Burial in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery in Fitchburg to follow.
Edward (Ed) L. Bedard, 67, of Fitchburg MA, passed away on July 9th, 2021. He passed away peacefully after a long illness.
Ed was born in Leominster MA on July 20th, 1953 to Eugene and Margarette Bedard. Married Lucy Bedard (Malboeuf) on August 18th, 1973. He graduated from Fitchburg High in 1971. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren. He had passion for coaching his kid’s baseball teams, fishing, cooking, cribbage, and darts. He also enjoyed spending time with Wayne and his friends at the coffee shops.
Ed is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Steven and sister Denise.
Ed is survived by his wife Lucy of 47 years. Son Stephen and wife Brenda of Merrimack, NH and their children Kiara, Melanie, and Brandon. Son Michael and wife Katie of Westminster, MA and their son Camden. Brother Billy and wife Tammy of Arizona. Ed leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
