Edward H. Littlejohn IV

Edward Hiliare Littlejohn IV, age 55, cast off his earthly shackles and ascended from this world unexpectedly on October 17th, 2025. He was strong, handsome, and brave until the very end.

He is deeply missed by his wife, Brittany, his parents Edward and Cindy, and brother and sister, Mark and Christy. He is truly irreplaceable.

Hil resided in North Andover, Massachusetts, where he enjoyed relaxing, vibing, listening to music, visiting his favorite restaurants and wine stores, and taking in the lovely view of the pool as he worked from home. He was a good friend, and a willing accomplice - with a playful, mischievous nature and a whiplash smile. That smile was brightest when he and his wife cruised in their convertible.

He was known for his impeccable style: in clothes, music, conversation, and life itself.

A poet, artist, photographer, and veteran, Hil changed countless lives through his love and generosity. He was kind, courageous, tender-hearted, and tough as a rock. He was handsome, smooth, stylish, and cool. He believed life was too short to drink cheap wine. If he were here, he would say “Carpe Diem” and “remember the good times.”

Though he faced more loss and bad luck than anyone should ever have to bear, Hil remained one of the most generous, kind, loving and forgiving people that anyone has ever known. He smiled and spoke with as many people as he could - making meaningful connections, giving generously, and helping others whenever possible.

He enjoyed everything life had to offer and worked hard to build a life where he and his wife could enjoy the simple pleasures they worked so hard for. Their favorite was simply being together.

A celebration of Hil’s life will be held in the spring, when family and friends can gather together to share good food, good music, good wine - and remember the good times.
