Elaine M. Roy

Elaine Roy, 77 of Fitchburg, MA passed away on September 8, 2023, after a brief illness.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Ulysses and Elaine, her brother, Fernand and her sister, Charlotte.

Elaine was a graduate of St. Bernard’s High school.  She was employed for many years as a CNA at various facilities including Cedar Street Rest Home, Keystone Manor and Sunrise Assisted Living until her retirement.  She enjoyed the simple things in life, listening to music, reading, playing cards and bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially enjoyed visits from her great nieces and nephews.  She was a kind soul with a heart of gold, always ready to welcome you with a smile. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Dr. Ronald Roy and his wife Janice, her nieces - Lynn Maillet and her husband Claude, Laura Maldonado and her husband Fernando, and Michelle Christian-Leary and her husband Anthony, as well as great nieces Mallory Caron and Alexandra DeCarolis, and great nephews Cameron Maillet, Griffin Leary, and Nolan Leary.

Funeral Mass will be held at St.Joseph’s Parish on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will be private.
