George Edgar Hunter Jr.

George Edgar Hunter Jr., age 79, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023.

George was born in St. Albans, VT, the son of the late Isobel Greenfield and George Edgar Hunter Sr. He was raised in Waltham, MA. George enlisted in the United States Air Force immediately after high school.

George is survived by his sisters Billie Drew of Lexington and Sara Gammell, and her husband Tom, of Fitchburg. Along with his children George David Hunter and Kristine Jones (Jonoy Jones) of Texas and Steven Hunter (Miranda Michon) of Haverhill, MA. His two grandchildren Zachary White and Olivia Jones, and one great grandchild Jason White. George is also survived by many caring nieces and nephews. 

George was predeceased by his sisters Barbara Lawrence and Betty DeFlorio.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember George for a graveside service on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street Hudson MA, 01749 at 10:00 am.
