Gladys M. Legendre

Gladys M Legendre, 96, passed away at the Highlands Nursing Home in Fitchburg on Thursday, October 24th , with her niece, Cindy Romano by her side.

Gladys was born in Fitchburg on August 5, 1928, daughter of Ernest and Aldea (Chouinard) Legendre. She was predeceased by her parents; her brothers Fernand, Roland, and Normand Legendre; her sister Beatrice Legendre; and her nephew Dennis Legendre.

Gladys is survived by several nieces and nephews. Her niece, Cindy, would like to extend her thanks to the staff at the Highlands and Beacon Hospice for their compassionate care, kindness, and support.

Per Gladys’ wishes, there are no planned funeral services or calling hours. Interment will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery at a later date.
