The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Saturday, March 3, with a Mass in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union St., Leominster at 12:30pm. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Saturday morning from 11:00am to 12:00noon. Burial will follow in Saint Leo’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA 01453 or to the Leominster Senior Center, 5 Pond Street, Leominster, MA 01453.

Leominster – Irene T. (Desharnais) Osborn, 91, of Leominster, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2015 in Sterling Village.
Irene was born in Leominster on August 11, 1924, a daughter of the late Rudolph and Marianne (Desilets) Desharnais. She graduated from the May Gallagher School, and later owned her own real estate company for several years. Irene, along with her husband Ken, owned and operated the Osborn Turkey Farm. She loved to volunteer at the Leominster Senior Center; in 2007 she received volunteer of the year. Irene was a parishioner of Holy Family of Nazareth Church in Leominster, where she served on the Women’s guild. She also belonged to the Daughter’s of Isabella, where she served as the Regent for the Leominster group and the Jean D’Arc of Fitchburg and Leominster. Irene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who affectionately called her GG.
She leaves a son, Kenneth H. Osborn, Jr., of Lake Wales, FL; two daughters, Jane M. Curry and her husband, William of Surprise, AZ and Susan A. St. Pierre and her husband Thomas of Leominster; seven grandchildren, Kenneth H. Osborn, III of Leominster, Steven Osborn and his wife, Tina of Leominster, Lori Osborn of Fitchburg, Ryan Curry of Durango, CO, Dr. Eric St. Pierre of Lafayette, CO, Nicole L’Ecuyer and her husband, Keith of Maplewood, NJ, Jacqueline Sellinger and husband Sean of Canyon Lake, CA; nine great grandchildren; her former daughter-in-law, Marie Osborn of Leominster; sisters, Claire Johnson of Fitchburg, and JoAnne Deshaies of Leominster; brother in law, Rick Ricker of Leominster several nieces and nephews.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Kenneth H. Osborn, Sr., in 2010, a brother, Norman Desharnais, and sisters Georgette Oullette and Lorraine Ricker.
