Jacqueline Ann Kinsman

May 10, 1961 — July 27, 2023

South Dennis

We remember with love and admiration the life of Jacqueline Ann (Boudreau) Kinsman, known fondly as "Jakes" or "Jackie," who was born on May 10, 1961, in Worcester, MA, and passed away on July 27, 2023. An embodiment of resilience and compassion, Jackie lived her life with a purpose, touching the lives of many with her warm heart, funny anecdotes, and generous nature.

Jackie was the valedictorian of her Mt. Wachusett Nursing class, a testament to her intellect and determination. She was a dedicated RN, who spent 40 years in the nursing profession, continually showing her commitment to her patients' well-being. In her free time, Jackie had unbridled enthusiasm for playing with her grandkids as they were central to her being.  An avid reader, Jackie had a particular fondness for mystery novels. She also enjoyed ice skating, swimming, visiting museums, and exploring New England historical sites. Her zest for life was infectious, often seen in her enthusiasm for playing arcade games with her grandchildren and Mad Libs with her family. In 2019, Jackie fulfilled her dream of moving to Cape Cod where she loved walking her dog Holly along the shorelines of the beach. She found solace in the simple joy of their companionship. As an active member of the Audubon Society, she further showcased her love for nature and her community.

Jackie's life was a testament to Helen Keller's words, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." She lived these words daily, her love for her family, her patients, and her dog Holly underscoring her every action. She leaves behind her parents Carol and Norman Boudreau, her children Doug Kinsman and his wife Becky, Erica Shorrock, Melissa Shaw, Jeff Boudreau and his wife Amanda, and three siblings Nancy Boudreau, Cathy Aubuchon and her husband Charlie, and Mark Boudreau and his wife Sheila. She was also blessed with five grandchildren: Valerie, Aiden, Alden, Thomas, and Ayla and many nieces and nephews.
