Shirley – James H. Byrne (“Jim”), 67, of Shirley, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2018 in his home.
Jim was born in Fitchburg on September 28, 1951. He was a Civil Engineer, who worked as a Sales Representative for All States Asphalt until his recent retirement. He had been formerly employed by Mass Broken Stone and P.J. Keating.
Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth (Descarreaux) Byrne of Shirley; two daughters, Sarah Byrne of Washington, DC and Kristin Driscoll and husband Jeremiah of Leominster; and his two beloved grandchildren, Connor and Olivia Driscoll. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Helen Pupkar.
