Calling hours will be from 10-11:30 am at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, MA on May 27, 2022. A service will follow at 11:30 am and burial will be at Whitmanville Cemetery, South Ashburnham Road, Westminster, MA.



James Harold Page, 80, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2022. James was born in Fitchburg on April 2, 1942, a son of the late Harold and Virginia (Marrone) Page. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Elaine (Blaisdell) Page.

James graduated from Fitchburg High School, where he was a member of the first FHS hockey team. His teammates fondly nicknamed him “Bronco.’ He also graduated from Steven’s Business College in Fitchburg, where he met and later married Elaine. He earned a Business Associates degree and he attended Fitchburg State University pursuing a BS in Business.

Much of James’s career was in the U.S. Military serving two tours – one during the Vietnam Era and another in Korea. James was a Green Beret for the Special Forces at Ft Bragg, N.C. and retired as a Master Sgt. in 1993. He served the remainder of his career in the Civil Service at Ft Devens, MA as a supply manager, professional military photographer and licensed auctioneer. Additionally, he was a MA licensed real estate broker and part owner of Apple Valley Realty in Leominster.

James enjoyed spending time with his family at Wells, ME and Lake Nubanusit, NH. He was an active member of the Fitchburg Sportsmen Club at Swallow Hill, an avid gardener, a New England sports fan and local pickleball player.

James is survived by his daughters April (Page) Stundtner and her husband Matthew Stundtner, Amy (Page) Dumas and her husband Gregory Dumas, his sister Ann Gail Lehtinen, his sister-in-law Bonnie Cameron, his grandchildren Duncan Stundtner, Anika Stundtner, Tanner Dumas and Rylan Dumas, and nieces and nephews.
