A Funeral Mass will be held in Saint Leo’s Church, Main Street, Leominster on Saturday, March 7, at 11:30 am. Burial will be held privately in Rhode Island. Calling hours will be held in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Friday, March 6, from 5-7pm.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to Saint Leo’s Church, 108 Main Street Leominster, MA 01453.



Fitchburg – John G. Rheault, 48, of Fitchburg, formerly of Lincoln, RI passed away in his home after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.

John was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island on April 5, 1966, a son of the late Joseph Robert and Jeannine (Lippe) Rheault. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Rhode Island. John loved construction and hands on work; he was a home renovator by trade.

John, a man of strong faith, was a parishioner of Saint Leo’s Church in Leominster. He loved the outdoors, especially the beach. His best of times were spent visiting Rhode Island with his wife Tina and enjoying the ocean. John was an avid fisherman and a loyal and enthusiastic Seattle Seahawks fan.

Family was everything to John; his two granddaughters were his world.

John leaves his wife, Tina (Cooley) of Fitchburg; his step-children, Kelley Casey of Leominster, and Michael Testa of Gardner; two grandchildren; Emma Lynn, the apple of his eye and Alaynah Rose, his little sweetheart. He also leaves many extended family members and close friends.
