John Louis Meyer, Jr.

TEMPLETON - John Louis Meyer, Jr., 63, of Templeton passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 in the Health Alliance Hospital Leominster Campus.

He was born on July 2, 1959 the son of the late John L. Meyer and Rose Marie (Barrows) Meyer.  He graduated from Montachusett Regional Technical School.  John was active in the Boy Scouts.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, baseball, basketball, biking and was a CB Radio enthusiast.  John was a lover of God, A follower of Jesus and practiced this discipline in the company of God and his church.  He loved his Christian family in the church and did pray for the children of God and his fellow man, as Christ would ask of him.  He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life.

He leaves his mother, Rose M. Meyer of Fitchburg; one brother, Stephen Meyer and his wife Mary Jane of Lunenburg and his former wife, Irene Meyer of Winchendon.

John was predeceased by his son, Jesse Meyer and by his father, John L. Meyer.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10:30 am in the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Road, Westminster.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg.
There are no calling hours.  All attending are asked to go directly to the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in John's memory to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Road, Westminster, MA 01473.
