Joseph J.D. Leblanc, 77, of 182 Spruce Street died Thursday, June 19th , in his home after an illness.
Born on August 20th, 1947 in Lewisville, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jean B. Leblanc.
He leaves his wife of 51 years, Diane Leblanc, and a daughter Donna LeBlanc of Salem, New Hampshire. He also leaves five brothers, Rev. Leo Paul Leblanc of Worcester, Ma., Roger LeBlanc of Westminster, Ma., Bernard J. Leblanc of Greenville, N.H., Gerald LeBlanc of Leominster, Ma., Charles Leblanc of Orange, Ma., and three sisters, Yvette Walker of Bluffton, South Carolina, Jeanette M. Gleason of Chester, Vermont and Claudette M. Dowse of Templeton, Ma.
He also leaves one grandson, Aiden Morales of Salem, New Hampshire.
He served his country in the Air Force refueling air craft during the Vietnam War.
Then he owned his own Photograph Studio where he happily enjoyed taking pictures for many weddings. He took softball team pictures and other family pictures all around the Leominster area he then went to Wang Computers where he found himself interested in the industry which landed him back into the federal government work which gave him the opportunity to accomplished a 25 year service for the government. JD helped CMOP recover addition cost due to his performance.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 9 - 10:15 a.m. in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg.
