Joseph S. Terrana, born on November 24, 1930 in Buffalo, NY, passed away on May 21, 2025 in his residence in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The eldest of four children, Joseph was born to Charles and Concetta Terrana. He was a beloved brother to Philip, Charles, and Dante.
Known for his smart, ambitious, and dedicated nature, Joseph was a pillar of his community in West Seneca, NY. He was a pharmacist by profession, owning and operating his own pharmacy for many years. His humorous and friendly demeanor was appreciated by all who had the pleasure to know him. As Albert Einstein once said, "Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value." Joseph embodied this sentiment, always striving to serve his community and provide the utmost value to those around him. He was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club and was known for his active lifestyle, which included biking, running, and chopping wood.
Joseph was the loving husband of Joyce Terrana and the proud father of Nancy Bonanno and Michael Terrana. He was a devoted and funny grandfather to Samantha and Joseph Bonanno. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Frank Bonanno. After his retirement, he moved to Massachusetts to be closer to his daughter's family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Concetta Terrana.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 10:30 am - 11:30 am; followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon.
