Joyce M. Tourigny

Our beloved mother Joyce M. (Kinsman) Tourigny, 77, of Leominster, MA. passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28th at UMass HealthAlliance surrounded by her family. 

She was born on July 9th, 1946, at Burbank hospital, Fitchburg, MA. to the late Roy and O’Dina Kinsman. Joyce was a dedicated and loving wife to Theodore E Tourigny. Theodore predeceased her on April 21st, 2012. Together Joyce and Theodore built a beautiful life and shared countless memories. She is survived by her sister Janine Kinsman of Fitchburg, MA, her children Sandra M. LeBlanc and husband Norman J. LeBlanc of Schertz, TX, her daughter Christine E. Boissoneau and son Shawn P. Tourigny of Leominster, MA with whom she lived with. She also leaves five grandchildren, Justine L. Zamot of Cibolo, TX., Joshua R Boissoneau of Athol, MA.  Ashley R. LeBlanc of Fitchburg, MA. Dylan J. Boissoneau of Athol, MA., and Cassandra A. Leblanc of Schertz, TX.  Great grandchildren Sophia M. Mendez, Christian L. Centeno, Adalynn M. Zamot, Aziel J. Arroyo and Evelynn L. Zamot. 

She was predeceased by her sister Maryanne Ali- Steiner of Dayton, Ohio. 

Joyce attended Fitchburg High School, graduating in 1965. She worked at several different manufacturing companies in the area, one of her favorites Foster Grants. In her last position at Synqor Inc. she made computer boards, a position she truly enjoyed. Joyce cherished her family and was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family always came first. 

The family would like to thank the CCU at UMass Health Alliance Leominster and Health Alliance home health and hospice for their care at home and in the hospital. 

The family is honoring her request to have no services. She will be buried with her beloved husband at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg, MA.
