Katharine Ashley Caldwell

Katharine Ashley Caldwell passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2026, in Harvard, MA, leaving behind a legacy of loved and cherished moments. Born on July 18, 1987, in Worcester, MA, Katharine's infectious laughter and zest for life will be dearly missed.

Katharine was a woman of extreme talent and tenacity. Her love for music was evident in the music she performed as a flutist, a skill she honored throughout her life. Growing up in Fitchburg, MA, she carried her love for community, camaraderie, and fun times at "The Jam Spot" into her adult life. She graduated from Fitchburg High School in 2005. Her hobbies evolved to include beach travels, outdoor events, and culinary adventures. But, above all, her most treasured moments were those spent with her boys, Jackson and Alexander, family, and friends.

Katharine's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds. Her love for her family was the cornerstone that defined her existence. Her resilience in the face of adversity, her unwavering loyalty, and her supportive nature are qualities that are forever etched in our hearts. Katharine lived her life embracing each day with courage, grace, and an infectious smile, amongst struggles in her life.

Katharine is survived by her sons, Jackson Rameau and Alexander MacGillivary; her parents, Donald and Brenda Caldwell; her sister, Rebecca Boisvert; her niece, Peyton Boisvert; her nephew, Carter Boisvert; and her grandmother, Ruth Caldwell, in addition to a loving extended family. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2026, from 5-7 PM at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg MA.
