Katherine D. Hawthorne Camacho

There will be a brief burial ceremony at 1 pm on Friday July 16th at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon MA 01475. A luncheon will be held afterwards at Highlands Baptist Church at 19 Cedar St, Fitchburg, MA 01420.



Katherine Camacho, loving and devout mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away on July 8th, peacefully in her sleep.  She was nearly one hundred years old. She has been reunited with her adoring husband Stanley Camacho, her three sons Russ, David, and Ward and her siblings William Russ, Mabel McCabe, Regina Hawthorne, and John Hawthorne.  She is survived by her grandchildren Rebecca and Jonathan, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family members through Christ.  Her generosity in time, love, and teachings was truly remarkable and will be missed.

Her family and friends are saddened by her departure but relieved by the knowledge of her everlasting life.
