Kenneth Raymond Thibeault

March 26, 1954 — October 15, 2023

Kenneth Raymond Thibeault, 69, of Fitchburg MA, passed away on October 15th at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after experiencing complications from cardiac surgery. After a week long battle Ken went peacefully with his family by his side.

Ken was born in Fitchburg on March 26, 1954 the son of the late Armand Thibeault and Doris (St. Jean) Thibeault.

Ken, otherwise known as KRT, was known for his humor, sarcasm, strength and toughness. When you met Ken, you never forgot him. He was able to make friends with just about anyone he came in contact with. He had a large circle of friends who will miss him greatly.

Ken loved traveling to his house in Falmouth and enjoyed fishing, clamming, boating, and hanging by the fire pit. Friends would drop by frequently and enjoy a cold one with him. Ken also enjoyed riding his Indian Motorcycle, traveling to Aruba, going to Patriots games, sports betting and tending to his lawn.

Ken’s knowledge of construction was his strength. He could build just about anything and did it with such ease and compassion. Most of his career was spent owning his own company KRT Contracting, until moving onto V&S Finishing Inc.

Ken leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Suzette (Cote) Thibeault; his sons, Nicholas James Thibeault of Manchester, NH, Matthew John Thibeault of Fitchburg, his daughter, Sarah Ann Thibeault and her fiancé Gavin MacIntyre of Boston; his granddaughter, Eva and her brother Cade; brothers and sisters, Michael Thibeault of Florida, Patti Gardiner and her husband Jim of Maine, Pam Myren and her husband Jeff of New York, Paula Butler and her husband Mark of Leominster, Peggy Hastings and her husband Scott of Templeton, his beloved dog Molly; and many nieces and nephews.
