We celebrate the life of Kimberly June Clements-Ward, better known to us as "Kim," who was born in Montgomery, AL, on July 24, 1974. Kimberly, a compassionate soul with a heart as generous as it was large, made her journey to the stars on September 28, 2026. As the beloved wife of Douglas Ward and the dedicated mother of Rowan and Gavin Ward, Kimberly was the glue that held her family together, always there with a witty comeback or a comforting hug.
Kimberly was a woman of remarkable dedication, not just to her family but also to her work. She was a trusted administrator at Johnson Controls - Fire Safety Alarms, where her colleagues valued her diligent work ethic and quick humor. Kimberly was not just a colleague, she was a friend who brightened up the workspace with her infectious laugh and ever-ready helping hand. She was a proud alumna of Mount Wachusett Community College, graduating with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration Curriculum, an achievement that showcased her dedication to her personal growth.
Kimberly's compassionate spirit shone brightest in her love for her family and her feline companions. She was the best friend, confidant, and cheerleader to her children, Rowan and Gavin. Outside of her busy schedule, Kimberly found solace in writing in her journals, an activity that allowed her to express her innermost thoughts and feelings. She also found immense joy spending time with her cats, who were more than pets; they were beloved members of her family. As Albert Schweitzer once said, "There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats." For Kimberly, her children and cats were her symphony, her escape from the world's troubles.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Lynda Clements. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Ward, and her children, Rowan and Gavin Ward. Her memory lives on in the lives of those she touched with her generous spirit and compassionate heart.
Please share your cherished memories and photos of Kimberly on her memorial page below as a tribute to her life.
