Kristen was a beacon of hope and positivity for all who knew her. She worked as a Monitor at the Van Pool Transportation Company, a role that allowed her to make a difference in the lives of many. She was known for her unwavering dedication to her work, her unique ability to connect with people, and her infectious laughter that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. Kristen is survived by her husband, Matthew Espie, her son Christopher, her brother Michael Budney and her loving mother, Maryellen Budney. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael P. Budney and her brother, Bryan Budney. Kristen's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her unwavering love and support will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known her. In the words of Emily Dickinson, "Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality." Kristen's love will live on, carried in the hearts of those she has left behind.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
