With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Linda Marie Penniman, who left this world on January 17, 2026, leaving a void in our hearts. Born to the late Aubin and Rita Perry in Gardner, MA, on August 23, 1952, Linda was a beacon of empathy, generosity, and inspiration. Her spirit will continue to touch the lives of many, as it did while she was with us.
Linda was a woman of immense strength and creativity. She was a business owner, an accountant, and, most recently,y a Clinical Analyst at UMass Memorial Medical. There, she was truly appreciated by her colleagues for her thoroughness, intelligence, and her kindness.
Her passion for quilting, sewing, and embroidery was evident in many projects she made over the years. She was always creating, from numerous quilts gifted to her children and grandchildren, to numerous designs she embroidered over the years. Linda's generosity shone through in every aspect of her life. She was also keen to teach and share her passions with anyone interested in learning, and she found great joy collaborating with her friends. She was known for her inspiring spirit and the ability to find happiness in the smallest things. Her love for her family and friends was immense, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Linda is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Scott Penniman, their three sons, Nathan, Craig, and Matthew Penniman, as well as her six grandchildren. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors, Nurses, and Hospice Care providers at UMass Memorial Leominster Campus for their excellent care in Linda's final days. Linda was a woman who lived her life true to the verse, "Let all that you do be done in love." (1 Corinthians 16:14). As we remember Linda, we must celebrate her life and cherish the memories she left behind.
The family asks in lieu of flowers, to make a donation to the American Cancer Society or a similar charity of your choice.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, January 28th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm with a service at 7 pm in the funeral home.
We encourage all who knew Linda to share their memories, offer condolences, and remember a life lived with abundant love and grace at brandonfuneral.com.
