Lorraine A. Blanchette

Lorraine A. Blanchette, 91, died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Heywood Hospital after an illness.

She was born in Leominster on February 15, 1934, a daughter of the late Jose and Exilda (LeBlanc) Blanchette. She had worked at several different places during her lifetime.

She enjoyed reading, playing rummy, and doing puzzles, especially cryptograms. She also enjoyed traveling and watching travel channels. Above all, she loved her family most of all.

She leaves her sister, Noella McDowell, and her husband, James, her brother Henry Blanchette and his wife Diana, and her sister-in-law, Lillian Blanchette, many nieces and nephews, and one great niece.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Paul Blanchette, Ray Blanchette, Doris Blanchette & Cecile Blanchette

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Cecilia's Church, Mechanic Street, Leominster, followed by burial at St. Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster, MA

A calling hour will be held in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg, on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
