Lorraine Marie Leclerc

June 12, 1930 — August 30, 2023

Naples, FL

Lorraine Marie Leclerc, age 93, resident of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully at home on August 30, 2023. Lorraine is the wife of the late Raymond Leclerc.

With a spirit as vibrant as the paintings she loved to create, Lorraine M. Leclerc, was a beacon of joy, resilience, and creativity. Born on June 12, 1930, in Leominster, MA, Lorraine's life was a colorful canvas filled with laughter, adventure, and a deep love for her family and community. Lorraine passed away on August 30, 2023, leaving a legacy of warmth, strength, and a passion for life that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

Lorraine's creativity knew no bounds, and her love for painting was evident in the beautiful pieces she exhibited as a member of the Bonita Springs Art League. Despite the stiffness in her hands in her later years that stopped her painting, her adventurous spirit never waned. She was a key supporter of street hockey, particularly for women, and helped run tournaments in Leominster at the original Street Hockey Institute, which was founded by her late husband Raymond Leclerc. Together, they funded the Raymond and Lorraine Leclerc Scholarship Fund at Assumption University, a testament to their dedication to supporting their community and the power of education.

A woman of faith, Lorraine was a parishioner of St Cecilia's in Leominster MA, and later, St John's in Naples.  It is her resilient spirit, coupled with her funny, adventurous, and creative aura, that we will remember and celebrate.

Lorraine is survived by her grandsons Michael (Jamie) Leclerc, Ryan Leclerc, Brent (Natasha) Leclerc and Brandon (Mishayla) Leclerc; granddaughter Lori Leclerc; nieces and nephews Brian Bilodeau, Scott Bilodeau, Sue Hache, Michelle Lavoie, Sheila Palmer, and ; cousin Pete (Maureen) Marcotte. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cecile Prince; husband Raymond Leclerc; sons Richard, Michael and Kevin Leclerc; and sister, Pauline Bilodeau.
