Mary Ann (Belli) Cormier (86) of Leominster, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025 at Sterling Village Rehabilitation Center after declining health. Born in Fitchburg on May 6, 1938, she was a life-long resident of the area.
For much of her life she was an entrepreneur and small business owner, opening the Red Checker Restaurant in the 1970s and working as a realtor, antique dealer and landlord. She was active on the Leominster Zoning Board of Appeals for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Nazzareno and Maria Belli and her siblings Dino Belli, John Belli and Josephine Belli. She is survived by her sister Catherine Pandiscio, former husband Ronald Cormier and her children, Laurie Prince and her husband Richard Bird of Newcastle, WA, Michael Prince and his wife Denise Prince of Charlottesville, VA, Stephen Prince and his wife Maureen Prince of Simpsonville, SC, a step daughter Lori Paull and her husband Roger Paull of Dunnellon, FL, and many beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
