Mary Brenda David Quigley

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, August 17 at St. Bernard’s Parish at St. Camillus Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 9:00 – 10:30 Friday morning at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg.



Fitchburg- Mary “Brenda” (Richard) David passed away in home on Friday, August 10 after a long battle with Lupus. She was born in Fitchburg a daughter of William and Bernadine (Quigley) Richard and lived her entire life in Fitchburg. Mrs. David leaves her husband of forty seven years, Lawrence David, two sons, Scott David of Fitchburg, Michael David and his wife Melissa (Linde) of Lunenburg and her beloved grandchildren, Irelynn, Jameson and Kierney, one sister, Kathleen Bourgault and her husband Donald of Fitchburg, one cousin, Deborah (Leger) Kelly and her husband James of Leominster and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her grandchild, Danica. Mrs. David was formerly employed at Celluplastic until she married. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and a lifelong member of St. Bernard’s Parish. Mary enjoyed baking including the family favorites, Italian cookies, scotch kisses and lemon delights. She enjoyed collectables, watching the New England Patriots, gardening and her dog “Sadie”. The family would like to acknowledge the great doctors that helped Mary during the many years of illness, Dr. Piamarie Ballarin-Feldman, Dr. Shipen LI, Dr. Alan Marks and Dr. Robert Fraser.
