Michelina Lanni

Michelina Lanni, a dedicated and loving sister and aunt, passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Rotondi, Province of Avellino, Italy, on March 1, 1945, Michelina was the embodiment of reliability and generosity throughout her life.

Never married and never formally employed, Michelina dedicated her life to her family and her beloved hometown of Lunenburg, Massachusetts. She found enjoyment in working on the family farm with her brothers, a hobby that manifested her profound love and dedication to her family. Michelina's selfless nature was a beacon of love that drew her family closer. Her kindheartedness and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Michelina is survived by her brothers Nicholas Lanni, Gennaro Lanni (Concetta), and Mario Lanni (Carol), and many adoring nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Rosa Lanni, her brother Frank Lanni, and sister-in-law Erminia Lanni (Nicholas).

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 13, 2026, 9:00-10:00 AM at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg; a Mass will be held at 10:30 AM at St. Boniface Parish, 817 Massachusetts Ave, Lunenburg, MA, with a burial to follow in South Cemetery, Lunenburg.
