Nancy A. Boudreau

September 15, 1939 — November 20, 2025

Westminster

Nancy Boudreau, fondly known as Anita to those close to her, passed from this world on November 20, 2025. Born on September 15, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, she was a cherished beacon of love, laughter, and steadfastness. As a devoted Lutheran, she lived a life firmly rooted in faith and family. Her favorite verse, Romans 12:12, "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer," was not just a verse to her but a mantra that she embodied in her daily life.

Anita was a proud resident of Westminster, Massachusetts, where her kindness and warmth radiated in her long-standing role as a Postal Clerk. For 36 years, the Westminster Post Office was not just her workplace, but a community she nurtured and cherished. Her retirement in 2009 marked the end of an era, but her legacy lives on. Anita's love for adventure was infectious. With her husband and growing family, she traveled and camped, creating a tapestry of unforgettable memories. Walt Disney World held a special place in her heart, as did the sunny shores of Florida. But her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Arianna. Together, they shared many outings, dance recitals, and trips to favorite places like the Vermont Country Store and the Big E.

Anita was the cornerstone of her family, a guiding light for her sons, Steve and Alan Boudreau, her daughter and granddaughter, Brenda and Arianna Barker, and her son-in-law, Douglas Barker. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Boudreau, and her parents, Sigurd and Alfhild Bidne. Her love for her church, Our Savior Lutheran Church in Westminster, was testament to her unwavering faith.

Anita's life was a testimony of love, faith, and dedication - a legacy that will continue to inspire her loved ones and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. As we bid farewell to Anita, let us celebrate the love and joy she shared, and honor her memory by living out the faith she so firmly believed in. Her family and friends are encouraged to share their memories and upload photos of Anita below.
