We remember the spirited life of Pamela T. (Roderick) Lehane, born in Groton, MA on February 8, 1949, she added a dash of pizzazz to our world until July 28, 2026.
Pamela was a charismatic personality, a life-long resident of Fitchburg, and a woman who knew how to enjoy the little moments. Whether it was a shopping spree with her granddaughters, or a breakfast date with her husband Robert, Pamela's adventurous spirit left a mark on all she encountered. Pam’s happiest moments were the simple ones, getting her nails done, or packing up for a fun weekend in New Hampshire, spending quality time with her beloved family.
Pamela was a hard worker, she was employed for many of her younger years at Stuarts Department Store. Later working at Seaboard Folding Box Company and Boutwell Owens, where she met her husband Robert and finally as a security guard at the Fitchburg Art Museum before her retirement. Thanksgiving, her favorite holiday, was a testament to her love for family gatherings, with Pamela often playing host in her younger years and enjoying moments filled with shared memories. She was a proud grandmother of six, also a great-grandmother to six, roles that brought her immense joy, pride and bragging rights.
True to her Catholic faith, Pamela embodied the verse from Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Her resilience, her unwavering love for her family, and her readiness to lend a helping hand whenever she was able, were hallmarks of her sparkling personality.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Robert Lehane; her children, Nadine (Charlie) Jean, Justin Lavoie; her grandchildren, Sophia Jean, Arabella Jean, Jordan Lavoie, Jarad Lavoie, Jacob Lavoie, Jeremy Lavoie; her nephews, Glenn Fossa, Mark (Heather) Hill; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile and Ruth Roderick, her brothers, Tom and Donald, and her two sisters, Beverly and Marilyn.
