Patricia A Lacki

Patricia A. Lacki, affectionately known as Patty by her loved ones, passed peacefully on December 13, 2025, just shy of her 81st birthday. Born on Christmas Day in 1944 in Fall River, MA, Patricia's life was one of service, compassion, and dedication to those around her. A beacon of love and heartfelt warmth, she brought joy to all who knew her.

Patricia spent most of her professional life as a thoughtful and dedicated social worker at UMass Hospital. Her career was a testament to her innate kindness and empathy, always prioritizing the well-being of others. She also found joy in knitting hats and gloves for children in need, demonstrating her compassionate spirit. Patricia was a fan of the Red Sox and enjoyed attending musical events. However, it was family that mattered most to her, especially spending precious time with her cherished granddaughter, Krista.

Previously a resident of Tiverton, Rhode Island, Patricia later made her home in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. She was the loving widow of Lester Lacki, with whom she shared life and love since their marriage on March 27, 1965. Preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Amelia Welch, as well as her beloved son, Christopher Lacki, Patricia is survived by her son Lester Lacki and his wife MaryAlyce of Athol, her daughter- in- law Stephanie Lacki of Webster. Granddaughter Krista, other grandchildren Sean, Jessica Lacki, Joey, Zachary, and Dillon Sawyer. As well as great-grandchildren.

As we remember Patricia, let's celebrate her life and the love she bestowed upon us. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
