A Memorial service is scheduled for December 12th, 11:00am with calling hours from 9:30 to 11:00am at Brandon Funeral Home located at 305 Wanoosnoc Rd in Fitchburg, MA.



Specialist E4, Paul Gregory Hawkins, 62, of Fitchburg, MA, passed on November 30, 2018. Paul was born to Marion and Letha Bell Hawkins, November 8th 1956, in San Diego, CA. He is survived by his fiancé, Valerie Capone Smith,  planning to marry her in December 2018. He leaves as his legacy six children: Sebrina LeMay and her husband Jeff LeMay, Tiffany Leary and her husband Patrick Leary, Matthew Hawkins, Justina Smith, Matthew Smith and Michael Smith. His children remember him as a loving, funny, and caring father. Paul will also be missed by his seven grandchildren, Kylsie Holden, Sebastian Leary, Ava Leary, Ethan Leary, Kaitlin LeMay, Kyle LeMay, and Paige LeMay. He leaves to cherish his memory one sibling, Sandra Sarff. In addition Paul leaves behind his former wife, Diane Hawkins, mother of his three children. Army SP-4 Hawkins served his country as an E-4, Radioteletype Operator for the US Army for 7 years. After serving his country, he began his career path in Aerospace Engineering with Lockheed Martin. He became the IS Operations Manager at UMass Health Alliance Hospital for 11 years and advanced to become an IT Operations Engineer with The Institute of Professional Practice (IPPI).

The family would also like to thank their Family and Friends for all of their prayers, love, and support.
