Paul M. Seretto Jr, born on January 15, 1941, age 81, of Fitchburg, passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Boston Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Paul was a lifelong resident of Fitchburg and was always involved in the community starting at a young age. Paul was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Troop 9 in Waites Corner, played Little League and Babe Ruth baseball leagues, and graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1960. Paul started his career in the bus business at age 13 working after school for Turner Motor Coach Bus Co, and eventually became the operations manager in 1967. In 1973 Paul became the Superintendent of Transportation for Fitchburg and Leominster Street Railway, and proceeded to open Coach and Truck Repair in 1985 as the President and Treasurer of the company. He continued to work in the bus business and opened Holiday Charter Bus Service in Fitchburg, which was his pride and joy, and was also employed as the Charter Sales Manager for the Wilson Bus Company until his retirement. Paul always enjoyed watching his sports teams throughout his life, specifically the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots religiously. Paul always loved antique cars and trucks, working on projects in and around the house, plowing his driveway, mowing his lawn, and always helping with his wife Carole with her dance recitals. Paul was a unique individual, and lived his life on his own terms.

People describe Paul as a hard worker, man of few words, someone who had a dry sense of humor, was always generous, had the kindest heart, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Paul’s granddaughter describes him as being “The Best Papa There Ever Was” and will greatly miss his guidance, phone calls about her car, help in life, talks about politics and sports, Christmas gifts for her cat Bella, and love and support most of all.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his youngest daughter Holly-Joy Seretto. Paul leaves behind his wife Carole (Lemieux) Seretto of 58 years, daughter Stacy Seretto-Saari, granddaughter Katarina Seretto-Salafia, and grandson Christyan Seretto-Saari.
