Peter Edward St. John

With heartfelt admiration and respect, we commemorate the life of Peter Edward St. John, known fondly by many as Pete, who was born on March 23, 1960, in Gardner, MA, and passed away on October 10, 2025. A loving father, loyal friend, and compassionate soul, Peter spent his years in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, where he was not just a resident but a cherished member of the community. His dedication to his loved ones and his unwavering kindness left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to have known him.

Peter's professional journey was marked by his steadfast commitment and dedication. He worked as a shipper and receiver until his retirement in 2024. His work was a testament to his reliability and strong work ethic. However, Peter's life was not only about work. He had a zest for life that was infectious. A devoted motorcyclist, an avid hunter, and a proficient marksman, Peter found joy in the thrill of the outdoors, the purr of a well-tuned engine, and the precision of a well-aimed shot.

What mattered most to Peter, though, was his family. Above all, he was a loving father to his daughter, Samantha St. John, and a dedicated caretaker to his pets, most recently his beloved cat, Gypsy. His love for them was profound and unconditional, and they were his greatest pride. Despite the ups and downs that life threw at him, Peter remained a beacon of resilience, showing his daughter that love and loyalty are the most important qualities one can possess. Peter is survived by his daughter, Samantha, his brother, John St. John and his sister, Jan Ferrante. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland St. John, and his mother, Jeannette Adams.
