Priscilla J. Cowland Nowokunski

Per her request, there will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private for immediate family members. Her burial will be alongside her husband Leon, at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Shirley.
Priscilla “Pat” (Cowland) Nowokunski, 97, passed away on Monday, May 9th, at Sterling Village Nursing Center.
The daughter of Albert Cowland and Evelyn (Haager) Bebick, Pat was born in Fitchburg on March 25th, 1925, and lived most of her life in Fitchburg. Her beloved husband of 54 years, Leon Nowokunski, predeceased her in 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen Nowokunski and his wife Jane, Brian Nowokunski and his wife Sandra, both of Leominster; her daughter Lisa Godin and her husband Theodore of Athol; her sister Barbara Lyle of Leominster; her brother Thomas LaPointe of San Diego; nine grandchildren, Stephen Nowokunski, Timothy Nowokunski, Alexi Nowokunski, Spencer Nowokunski, Olivia Nowokunski, Tess Gessler, Amber Godin, Kyle Godin and Troy Godin; four great-grandchildren, Graci Nowokunski, William Nowokunski, Eli Godin, and Cole Godin; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Hill.
Pat loved spending time with her family, going out to eat, and shopping for gifts for her loved ones.
