After a life filled with love, adventure, and joy, Priscilla Regopoulos passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the age of 94.
Born on July 18, 1932, at Lucy Helen Hospital in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Stamatis) Anastos. Her family later relocated to Cambridge, where she attended and graduated from the Cambridge public schools.
Faith and family were central to Priscilla's life from an early age. She was actively involved in her Greek Orthodox Church, where she taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and traveled throughout the United States with the Greek Orthodox Youth Association. It was at a church dance, while enjoying one of her favorite pastimes, that she met the love of her life, Spyleos Regopoulos. Together, they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Priscilla had a wonderful sense of adventure and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe, especially when those journeys provided opportunities to visit family and friends. She also found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life, particularly tending to her beloved spring perennial flowers, which she lovingly planted at every home in which she lived.
A woman of remarkable creativity and talent, Priscilla enjoyed a wide variety of arts and crafts. She studied ceramics, creating personalized lamps for family members, and was especially gifted at crocheting beautiful lace tablecloths. She knitted afghans and mittens for her loved ones and sewed matching holiday outfits for her children when they were young, joking that it made them easier to keep track of. She also lovingly handcrafted wedding favors for many of her nieces and nephews, making each occasion a little more special.
Priscilla's talents extended into the kitchen, where she was known for her delicious Greek pastries and beautifully made cakes for birthdays and other special celebrations. Her baking, much like her handmade creations, was another expression of the love and care she shared so generously with others.
Always eager to learn and explore new interests, Priscilla took classes at Fitchburg State and the Fitchburg Art Museum. She was a proud 50-year member of the Leominster Art Association and enjoyed participating in activities at the Leominster Senior Center, where she studied Tai Chi.
Throughout her life, Priscilla maintained a strong work ethic and a dedication to serving her community. She worked for the Internal Revenue Service, DeMoulas Supermarkets, and the FLLAC Collaborative, and served as an election warden for the City of Leominster. She also generously volunteered her time at the Brain Injured Center in Fitchburg, served as a Girl Scout leader, and was an active PTA volunteer. Additionally, she enjoyed working backstage at charity fashion shows for Yolanda's of Waltham.
A devoted member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fitchburg, Priscilla was active in the Elpis Society and was a longtime volunteer at the church's annual Greek festival. Her faith, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand were reflected in the many ways she contributed to her church and community.
Above all else, Priscilla treasured her family. She leaves behind her loving children, Star of Leominster, Ann-Keve (Randall) Blackburn of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Spyleos (Lisa) Regopoulos of Maryland, Christina (Raymond) Dennehy of Princeton, and Angel Regopoulos of Leominster. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Sophia of Watertown.
She was the devoted grandmother of Mark (Danielle) Blackburn of Colorado Springs, Alexis Regopoulos (Trey Mostyn) of Maryland, and Raymond Dennehy IV of Boston. She was also the cherished "GiGi" to her three great-granddaughters, Jordyn, Emersyn, and Everly Blackburn of Colorado Springs, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved husband, Spyleos Regopoulos, in 2012; her cherished grandson, Randall Blackburn Jr., in 2006; her parents, John and Anna Anastos; and her brothers, Christos and Theodore.
Priscilla will be remembered for her boundless creativity, adventurous spirit, deep faith, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Whether through a lovingly prepared meal, a handmade gift, a beautiful garden, or a warm embrace, she had a special way of making those around her feel cherished. Her legacy lives on in the traditions she passed down, the memories she created, and the generations of family who were fortunate enough to share in her remarkable life.
Priscilla lived by the sentiment, "If a little is good, a lot is better," a reflection of the abundance of love, generosity, and enthusiasm she brought to everything she did.
We miss you. We love you. And we thank God for the precious time we were blessed to share with you.
