Raymond G. Cote, 73, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2021 in UMass Medical Center in Worcester. Ray was born on April 7, 1947, a son of the late Oscar and Hermoine (Poirier) Cote. He spent his career working as a self-employed painter until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and was a New England sports enthusiast. Ray was a friend of Bill W; through his own perseverance and the help of close friends, he gained his sobriety and proudly remained so until his passing. He is survived by his siblings; Joseph Cote, Corena Wirtz, and Richard Kacprzicki; several nieces and nephews, as well as his close friend Daniel Cordio. Ray was predeceased by his sister Jeannette Duval and brother Leslie Cote.
