Rita Koski, born in Berlin, Germany, on the 20th of September, 1951, was a woman of unyielding spirit and abundant love. Raised in a military family, she traversed the United States. Her journey led her to the heart of Fitchburg, Massachusetts, where she rooted herself as a beloved pillar of her community, a devoted wife to her husband Walter Koski, and a cherished mother to her children, Sharon Koski-Richard and Jim Koski.
Unyielding in her dedication to her family, Rita was a beacon of unconditional love and support. She was a living testament to the belief that the home is where the heart is, pouring her heart into creating a nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her legacy is carried on by her caring husband, Walter R. Koski; her devoted children, Sharon and Jim; her supportive brother, Gordon Bowdon, and his wife Charolaise; her caring brother-in-law, Andrew Doss, and two nieces and one nephew. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Gisele Bowden, and her dear sister Malita Doss.
Rita was a woman of many passions. She found joy in the gentle strokes of her paintbrush and the captivating rhythm of country music. Her talent as a painter and drawer was awe-inspiring, as she breathed life into her artworks with her unique perspective and vivid imagination. The countless concerts she attended, the photographs with various artists, and the melodies that echoed in her home spoke volumes about her undying enthusiasm for country music. These passions added a beautiful dimension to Rita's life, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her.
